WHAT WE OFFER
We teach dinghy sailing to kids aged between 7-16yrs of age. No prior experience is necessary - just the love of the water and the smell of the salt air!
Fun group activities that teach the basic skills and then provide on-going training through school holiday camps and then progress to regular summer weekly sailing, as well as private lessons and school sport groups.
Over the history of the club we have produced hundreds of kids and teenagers as champion sailors. We focus on providing a solid grounding in the basic skills of dinghy sailing in a fun and safe environment. Our aim is to make learning to sail easily accessible for everyone who wants to give it a try, particularly for families with no previous connection to the sport.
These programs can be used as a single session or a school holiday experience, or as an ongoing activity to get involved in sailing at club race level. For those students who become hooked on sailing we offer a junior division that competitively races on Sundays from September to April. We are happy to provide advice on choosing the right boat for you.
At the end of each Learn to Sail session we issue a certificate listing all skill levels that have been achieved since entering our program. Our Instructor will then be more than happy to guide you to the next step.
OUR COURSES - KIDS

The Instructor Clare, and her hard team of young workers really understand the kids and spend alot of time and patience with them. Learn to Sail Sessions are available as school holiday camps or as weekend courses. A one week school holiday camp provides the equivalent training to a term of weekend sailing.
Summer School Holiday camps
Usually run Monday to Friday (except public holidays) from 9.30 to 3.30 during the Summer & April School Holidays.
Our camps are open for the first timers up to the racers, although we do set a focus on a particular level to suit the majority of our participants.
We believe that our sailing camps should be truly enjoyed. Our instructors will ensure that the camp is enjoyable in a laid back fashion with a little extra time put in each day to make sure the camp produces good sailors.
Weekend summer sailing
Available Saturdays from October till December & February till April from 8.30am to 11.00am. Each session runs 10 weeks, and we run 2 sessions each season.
Weekend winter sailing
Available Saturdays afternoons from early June till early August 1.00pm to 3.30pm. The session runs 10 weeks. Contact our Sailing Manager to reserve your place in any of our courses.

BOOKING INFORMATION
Simply just complete the on line registaration form and email or post it back to our sailing office. Our office will then contact you and confirm your placement. Full payment is required to confirm your place, and an enrolment form must be completed by a parent for every booking.
Due to popular demand we advise that registrations will be taken on a first come first served basis.
